Rare Vintage Gucci Black Leather Shoulder Bag.Classic Early-Mid 1970s Gucci structured leather bag featuring iconic interlocking GG clasp,removable shoulder strap,some expected wrinkling on strap but no cracks,no peeling(pic ),and gold crest logo stamp.Italian box calf leather exterior,no nicks,loose,missing stitches,minimal surface wear.The 55 year old interior pristine,no dirt,stains,no powder,peeling,odor,all in a sleek,structured silhouette with magnetic snap closure(pic10) Note: Authentic early Gucci piece before introduction of serial numbers, identifiable by GG interlocking clasp(pic6)and gold foil Gucci crest logo stamp(pic7)used from late 60s-mid 70s,phased out with introduction of serial number tags in late ’70s.Vintage pre-serial Gucci structured box leather bags from this era with crest logos are desirable among collectors,especially in black, which was less common than tan or oxblood,often used for their evening and formal styles.A truly timeless collector’s item.
