Vintage J. Press Pressidential Sport Coat Mens 46L Glen Plaid Wool Made in USA Description: Up for sale is a stunning, authentic piece of American Ivy League heritage: a vintage J. Press Pressidential Sport Coat in a hard-to-find size 46 Long. The Pressidential collection represents J. Press's highest, pinnacle tier of custom tailoring, famed for premium textile choices and impeccable construction. This garment features a timeless black-and-white glen check weave accented by subtle golden-mustard vertical stripes and slate blue horizontal windowpane overchecks. True to true traditional mid-century tailoring, this jacket is designed with an undarted front silhouette, a 3-button front button closure, and an unvented (no vent) clean back panel—providing an elegant, classic silhouette that hangs beautifully. * Brand: J. Press * Line: Pressidential (Top-Tier Pinnacle Collection) * Size: Men's 46 Long (46L) * Pattern: Glen Plaid / Prince of Wales Check with Multi-Color Windowpane Overcheck * Material: 100% Pure Virgin Wool (Woolmark Certified) * Front Buttons: 3-Button Closure * Vent: None (No Vent / Ventless Back) * Origin: Tailored in the U.S.A. of fine imported fabric * Era: Vintage (Late 1970s / 1980s) * Note: Light discoloration at underarms — appears as minor fabric dye variation, not staining. See photos. (I had it dry-cleaned and it cleaned up a lot--might get better with more cleanings) Smoke free & no pets environment
