【Product Name】 Selmer Mark VI Soprano Saxophone with Engraving (1969, Overhauled) 【Description】 This is a Selmer Mark VI Soprano Saxophone. Serial Number: 217xxx (Manufactured in the 1960s) This is an earlier model within the Mark VI series, from a highly sought-after era. It was professionally overhauled by a specialist in February and is in excellent playing condition. The exterior retains a significant amount of lacquer, and the engraving is beautifully preserved. Considering its age, it is in remarkably good condition. 【Condition】 ・Overhauled (February 2026) ・Excellent playing condition ・No major dents ・Minor scratches from normal use ・Pads replaced and adjusted ・Approximately 5mm of lacquer wear on the cork connection of the neck and inside the bell 【Accessories】 ・Original mouthpiece (deteriorated with age) ・Case (authenticity unknown, deteriorated with age) 【Comments】 Mark VI soprano saxophones are rarely available on the market, and those in particularly good condition are exceptionally rare. This instrument is recommended for those who prioritize playing condition. 【Notes】 The overhaul was performed by Odagiri Kobo, commissioned through Okubo Gakki. The overhaul included complete disassembly of the keys, internal cleaning of the tubing, replacement of all consumables such as corks, felts, and pads, and elimination of key key wobble. The new pads installed during reassembly are top-of-the-line Chanu pads. This instrument was acquired from an acquaintance and then overhauled for sale. As an amateur, I am unable to answer specialized technical questions, so please understand. The product description was compiled with information provided by AI and staff at a musical instrument store. Returns are not accepted to prevent fraud. As this is a used item, please check the condition in the photos. Click here for the manufacturer's site
