This is the Drake Master Series Phil Woods model. Purchased new in November 2025. It has barely been used since a patch was applied when it was new, so there are no scratches on the tip rail and it is in good condition. It is said to be based on the New York Meyer that Phil Woods used. Made with Drake's proprietary Vintage Resin material, it has a sparkling sound and excellent projection, different from Meyer's hard rubber, making it an outstanding mouthpiece. The tip opening is approximately 1.9mm, based on personal measurement. I purchased it for over 60,000 yen, but I believe I am listing it at a considerably low price, so I apologize, but I will not be able to accept price negotiations. Master Series Phil Woods Model! This is a signature model developed in collaboration with the Phil Woods estate as a special project. This model is designed to be as close as possible in shape and design to the mouthpiece Phil Woods played for over 40 years, achieving exceptional response and comfortable playability. It offers not only an alto-like tone but also a clear sound contour and the power to be used in a full band. Drake Mouthpieces, an American mouthpiece brand, is committed to 100% American-made products. Not only the materials but also the manufacturing process are handled entirely in-house without outsourcing. Each mouthpiece is hand-finished by Drake himself, ensuring a meticulous finish. It is also the first brand to incorporate ceramic material into mouthpieces, releasing various models using ceramic. Their proprietary Vintage Resin, in particular, has received high praise both domestically and internationally. Click here for the manufacturer's site
