Gorgeous early Georg Jensen design of his Bird With Berries brooch number 175. Most of this design I see have open-work areas, whereas this one is all closed, hollow with a full back. It bears the early GI mark, which dates it between 1904 to 1915. It has a trombone clasp. Measures: 1-3/4 or 45mm across Weight: 15.82 grams Marked: 925 Sterling Denmark 175 (model number) and GI Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. There is some light scratches but in very good condition considering its age! Please view photos in the listing for a visual representation of this items condition. They are an important part of the description. The item pictured is the exact item you will receive. I am NOT a jeweler or an expert. I buy most of my jewelry from estate sales. I DO NOT do any sizing, modifying, etc.. on any jewelry. If you need anything sized, you can take it to a jeweler and have it done there. Because some people prefer to keep a jewelry items patina, I only give jewelry a mild cleaning, leaving the current patina. If you prefer more shine, I recommend a Sunshine polish cloth (available online). Please stay away from liquid cleaners as they might damage your jewelry! Please let me know if you have any questions. J904-0134-0226
