This vintage lacquered brass ship’s clock is a striking piece of nautical décor with real presence and weight. Crafted from solid brass with a warm, golden lacquered finish, it carries the look and feel of a classic maritime timepiece—substantial, purposeful, and beautifully made. The front features a heavy glass lens over a crisp 24‑hour dial, the kind used aboard vessels where precision and clarity matter. The brass casing has a rich glow, softened by age, giving it that authentic seafaring character collectors love. Measuring 8 across the back rim and 5.75 across the thick glass front, and weighing 3 lbs 4 oz, this clock is built like a true ship’s instrument. The back includes a wall‑hanging slot and a 3‑screw removable brass back plate, revealing a quartz movement designed to run on a single AA battery. The clock does not currently work, but the movement may be repairable or replaceable. As‑is, it makes a stunning display piece—perfect for a study, office, nautical‑themed room, or maritime collection. Believed to have been produced around 2003 by Forever Lovely & Beautiful, known for their lacquered brass décor pieces.
