Add a touch of authentic Scandinavian minimalist elegance to your home or collection with this vintage clear crystal bud vase. Designed by Walter Hickman in 1937 for the historic Swedish glassworks Kosta Boda, this iconic piece from the Pippi pattern remains a staple of Mid-Century Modern design.Crafted from heavy, high-clarity crystal, the vase features a sleek, tapered cylindrical silhouette. Its standout feature is a thick, solid glass base enclosing a single, perfectly centered controlled teardrop air bubble—the hallmark of skilled hand-blown glass artistry. The underside shows a completely smooth, flat-polished base with a ground pontil mark. Consistent with Kosta Boda’s late 20th-century production runs, this piece is unsigned and originally featured a paper/foil factory label.Brand: Kosta BodaPattern: Pippi ClearDesigner: Walter HickmanOrigin: Made in Sweden (Småland / Kingdom of Glass)Estimated Era: 1970s – 1990sMaterial: Hand-blown crystal glassDimensions: [Insert Height 7.5 inch Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
