RARE Vintage Fall Floral Granny Square Crocheted Afghan/Blanket (45 x 70) This is a stunning, meticulously hand-crocheted afghan or blanket featuring a classic granny square construction with an elegant, textured floral design. It's a true statement piece that brings a cozy, vintage, and rustic charm to any home, perfect for Fall and Autumn decor. Size: Approximately 45 inches wide by 70 inches long—a generous lap or throw size that's perfect for draping over a sofa, armchair, or at the foot of a bed. Construction: The blanket is made up of individual squares joined together, a hallmark of traditional granny square technique. Design: Each square is centered with a beautiful, 3D raised crocheted floral appliqué. The flowers are set against a background of creamy white or off-white/ivory yarn, giving the piece a bright, fresh look. Color Palette: The floral squares feature a rich, seasonal color scheme of pumpkin orange/rust, mustard yellow/gold, and deep brown/black, all surrounded by dark forest green leaves. This palette is evocative of autumn, harvest, and cozy fall days. Detailing: The outer border is finished with an attractive, gently scalloped edge. The close-up images show the detailed stitch work and the wonderful texture of the raised flowers. Condition: Excellent, vintage/handmade condition. A special, one-of-a-kind gift for a crafter, collector, or lover of handmade goods. Seasonal Autumn/Thanksgiving home decor.
