This candleholder is proof that primitive, rustic or cottagecore design can not be extravagant. This is one grand large studio pottery candle holder which is a wheel-thrown stoneware pot vessel featuring a sculptural rounded form with integrated side handles and a speckled celadon-green glaze. At the center is a raised interior candle tube that extends upward from the base, a purposeful design intended to securely hold a candle while allowing heat and light to radiate through the surrounding vessel. The exposed natural clay rim and visible throwing marks speak to its handmade origins and studio craftsmanship, placing it within vintage organic modern décor traditions. - Hand-thrown stoneware construction with substantial weight and scale - Central raised candle tube designed for pillar or taper-style candles - Speckled celadon-green glaze with natural variation and depth - Exposed clay rim and foot emphasizing material contrast - Integrated side handles sculpted directly into the form - Large-format vessel with strong sculptural presence Striking both lit and unlit, this piece functions as a sculptural accent as much as a candle holder, bringing warmth and quiet drama to a dining table, mantel, or coffee table. Its generous scale, refined glaze, and pristine condition make it especially appealing to collectors of studio pottery and lovers of organic modern interiors who value craftsmanship, presence, and timeless design.
