This vintage Argus C-Four Coated Cintar 50mm f/2.8 lens is a classic standard-length optic originally paired with mid-century Argus cameras, now offered as a standalone component for collectors or restoration projects. The lens shows heavy oxidation on metal surfaces, noticeable surface wear, internal dust or haze, and general aging expected from long-stored vintage equipment, and it has not been tested for mechanical or optical performance. The 50mm focal length provides a natural field of view suited for general photography, and the manual aperture ring offers settings from f/2.8 to f/22 for flexible light control when installed on a compatible camera. This lens is ideal for display, spare-parts use, vintage Argus restoration work, film-camera experimentation, or adaptation projects for those familiar with older mechanical optics. Argus lenses like the Coated Cintar line are known for their mid-century American construction and straightforward manual operation, making them popular among collectors of U.S. film-era camera gear. Untested vintage lens with oxidation, surface wear, internal dust or haze, and aging throughout. Sold as is. As always, open to offers.
