This is a stunning, museum-quality original textile panel from the iconic Peruvian brand Silvania Prints, founded in 1956 by designer Silvia von Hagen. Titled Friends of the Peruvian Rainforest, this hand-printed work is a vibrant celebration of the Amazon's biodiversity, featuring a lush Tree of Life composition teeming with macaws, jaguars, monkeys, and butterflies. Condition & Details: Condition: Pristine vintage condition. Zero fading, spots, or tears. The colors remain as bold and saturated as the day they were printed. Authenticity: Features the SILVANIA PRINTS signature/logo directly on the fabric and includes the original black woven brand tag. Material: 100% high-quality Peruvian Pima cotton. Dimensions: Large 32.5 x 32.5 square—perfect for high-impact wall art. Provenance: Hand-printed in Lima, Peru, likely circa late 1970s/early 1980s. Why This Piece? Silvania Prints are highly collectible, representing a fusion of mid-century modern design and indigenous Peruvian iconography. This specific Rainforest motif is one of Silvia von Hagen's most sought-after designs. Because it has never been framed, the fabric is supple and ready to be custom-mounted to fit your space.
