This instructional video, The True Transmission: Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu Complete Works, is the ultimate guide for those who wish to deeply understand and master the techniques of Aiki-jujutsu. If you feel you've reached a limit in your current training or techniques, this video will enable you to break through it. For those who watch various masters' techniques on YouTube but struggle to apply them effectively, or feel stagnant despite consistent practice, this is the long-awaited instructional material. The tradition of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu has been passed down through successive Grand Masters: Sokaku Takeda, Tokimune Takeda, and Masayuki Kondo. This legacy culminates in this video, supervised by Masayuki Kondo, the current Grand Master of the Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu Headquarters. This material is packed with techniques previously accessible only to a select few, such as Hiden Mokuroku (Secret Catalog), Okugi (Esoteric Teachings), and even Hi-o-gi (Deeply Secret Teachings). These are not mere demonstrations of techniques; they provide theoretical explanations and practical guidance on how to make the techniques effective. This material can help solve common problems faced by many martial artists, such as techniques don't work against strong opponents, I can't control techniques like a master, or I don't feel progress no matter how much I practice. It covers a wide range of content, including the fundamental principle of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu, Shinten Aiki (Expanding Aiki), various basic and advanced techniques, and even weapon techniques using swords and staffs. The techniques are introduced step-by-step, making them easy to understand even for beginners or those new to Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu. For example, it begins with explanations of basic Aiki movements like Aiki Joge (Upward-Downward Aiki), Aiki Rasen (Spiral Aiki), Jukyu Shinten Aiki (Axis-Bearing Expanding Aiki), and Kukyoku Aiki (Bending Aiki). The content is substantial, featuring advanced techniques unique to this video such as Tashu Aiki-jujutsu (Multi-person Aiki-jujutsu), Nito-ryu Hiden (Two-sword Secret Teachings), Taninzu Dori (Multiple Opponent Grabs), and Buki Dori (Weapon Grabs). Furthermore, secret techniques and training methods that have not been publicly disclosed are explained in detail, along with three steps for their mastery. Moreover, the video captures the remarkable improvement of students directly coached by Kondo-sensei, showing their progress in real-time. This makes it not only a valuable reference for instructors but also a source of new discoveries and personal skill enhancement for practitioners of Aiki-do and other martial arts.
