Excellent used condition fat biking winter boots. With a design inspired by a mountaineering boot, it excels where others have failed. The mid-calf upper made of full-grain leather and ballistic nylon with a waterproof barrier is built to last and ready to stand up to abuse. The 200g Primaloft insulation will provide you with enough warmth to keep you going in weather as cold as -18°C. The midsole is reinforced with glass fibre and the outsole’s Vibram construction will stand the test of time. Cleat slots in the sole are a problem area for winter cycling footwear, causing heat loss from cold cleats, by the principle of conductivity. The 45NRTH Wolvhammer solves the problem by using a layer of special NASA-approved aerogel which has incredible insulating properties, yet is almost as light as air. If you do a lot of winter riding, you owe it to yourself to pick up a pair of these boots ! -18C° to -4C° Comfort Waterproof-breathable protection for moisture wicking Mid-calf height for good protection and comfort Additional insulation above the ankles Primaloft 200g insulation Midsole with AEROGEL technology 1680 Denier ballistic nylon exterior VIBRAM outsole compatible with SPD pedals Nylon midsole with injected fiberglass for high impact resistance
