Antique Milk or Cream Pitcher Canco 1920-1950 Antique Milk or Cream Pitcher Canco 1920-1950 Vintage CANCO Galvanized Steel Milk/Cream Pitcher Authentic vintage galvanized steel milk or cream pitcher manufactured by CANCO, as indicated by the stamped maker's mark on the bottom. These utility pitchers were commonly produced in the United States during the early-to-mid 20th century (approximately 1920s–1950s) for farm, dairy, and household use. CANCO produced a variety of tinplate and galvanized steel household containers during this era. This pitcher has developed an attractive aged patina with surface oxidation that gives it excellent primitive farmhouse character. It displays well as rustic décor, while also appealing to collectors of vintage dairy, country store, and agricultural memorabilia. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related rust, oxidation, scratches, and wear. Handle attachment and rim show bright, fresh solder, indicating recent repairs were likely performed by a previous owner. Interior is clean with expected age wear. Sturdy and displays well.
