Beautiful vintage pair of genuine sterling silver salt and pepper shakers manufactured by the renowned Mueck-Carey Co. (New York) circa 1940s-1950s. **NOT weighted** The underside of the base is fully hallmarked with the Mueck-Carey M in a diamond trademark, stamped STERLING, and bears the pattern number 162. The Pattern #162 design blends Late Art Deco geometric lines with the emerging Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, which was highly popular on American dining tables during the immediate post-WWII era **Condition:** Vintage pre-owned condition. They do have some dings and imperfections but are still in beautiful sparkling vintage condition. No buildup on the inside from salt. Caps screw on perfectly. Please review photos carefully to assess the physical condition, including any minor surface scratches, tiny dings, or patina consistent with age and gentle use. A15-LA-072000
