Perfect for picnics or as a gift! ★ Fortnum & Mason: The Original Hamper Shape The Christmas Box Carry Basket ◆ Exquisite Size Carry it by the leather handles at the top! This means you can transport food and tableware without them tipping over. *The Fortnum's shipping cardboard box (light blue inside, as shown in the photo) will be used for shipping. ◆ When it first appeared for Christmas in 2019, it was sold under the name The Basket Box. !! ◆ Props, booklets, and food items shown in the photos are not included. They are for size reference. A small bonus gift will be included. ★ This box shape is a reproduction of the original hamper shape created by Fortnum & Mason in the mid-1700s. Its name at the time was The Basket Box, marking the beginning of the history of hamper baskets. → ★ The last photo was taken at the flagship store during Christmas 2019. You can see this original basket in the exhibition corner showcasing the history of hampers. Unauthorized use of photos is prohibited. → Under the poster The Original Parcels of Joy, it is displayed that one of the oldest hamper baskets remaining at Fortnum's is precisely this shape. [Reproduction of photos taken here is strictly prohibited!!] If I recall correctly, the explanation was that in the past, when Britain had colonies all over the world, Christmas hampers sent to family and loved ones in those colonies were delivered via long sea voyages of 2-3 months. This box shape, which could be transported horizontally and stacked, was its original form. The fact that Christmas hamper catalogs used to be released in the summer, even just over a decade ago, is said to be a remnant of needing to allow time for these long sea voyages. ◆ Size: Width 29cm x Depth 24cm x Height 19cm *There are people copying my product descriptions and photos to list their items. Copying descriptions and stealing photos is a violation of the terms of service, and I will report it. ◆ A discount will be applied if you purchase multiple items together. ★ ↓ See the list here #MitsukisBagsForSale #MitsukisCuteThingsForSale Click here for the manufacturer's site
