Offered is a group of six vintage Democratic political campaign pinback buttons featuring Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale. The lot includes: * 1 large red, white, and blue “President Jimmy Carter ’76” button * 2 green “Jimmy Carter for President” buttons * 3 blue “Mondale” buttons These buttons are associated with the historic 1976 presidential campaign in which Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale ran as the Democratic ticket. The large Carter button provides an attractive centerpiece, while the matching Carter and Mondale buttons make this a nice ready-made collection. Ideal for collectors of presidential campaign memorabilia, Democratic Party history, vintage political advertising, and American election collectibles. Condition The buttons are in vintage, preowned condition. They show varying degrees of surface wear, scratches, scuffs, edge wear, spotting, and age-related marks. The large Carter button has visible surface wear, and the Mondale buttons show some wear around their edges. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they show the exact six buttons included and are part of the condition description. The backs and pin mechanisms should also be photographed for the listing, particularly if they contain manufacturer names, union bugs, or other markings.
