Iaido - High-Quality Iaido Sword Sea Cucumber Tsuba, Daito [Product Specifications] This is an iaido sword purchased new for ¥65,000. As it is an iaido sword, it is not sharpened and cannot cut. It is a safe martial arts tool that does not require registration or other permits. This iaido sword is fitted with a sea cucumber tsuba, favored by Miyamoto Musashi. Unlike inexpensive replica swords, it is made of a hard alloy for iaido, which is realistic and durable. The mounting also has the elegance of a genuine article. Habaki, seppa, and blade are all firm with no play. The koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard) is not loose. There is slight horizontal play in the tsuba, but it does not interfere with drawing or unsheathing the sword. There are scuff marks on the blade from use. It can be used without issue for iaido practice. With a groove (shinogi) that runs through the blade, you can enjoy a crisp cutting sound through the air. The blade is slightly shorter, making it easy to handle and recommended for a wide range of practitioners. It is also ideal for beginners in iaido. The tsuba is made of iron. Please be sure to check the photos for the condition of the blade, mounting, and other parts before purchasing. While there is no flashy hamon (temper line), it features a straight hamon that suggests a sincere and carefully crafted piece, a gem that exudes understated elegance. Please consider this opportunity. *Prices will be changed irregularly. *Immediate purchase is welcome.
