Thank you very much for viewing. I am starting to declutter my collection storage and have decided to list this item. This is a high-quality Iai-do sword (Tachi) of Goronyudo Masamune (replica) made by Nihon Antique Gallery. There are some stains on a part of the handle's ito (cord) and very small plating peeling on a tiny part of the blade, but there are no scratches or stains that significantly detract from its appearance. I believe it is in beautiful condition. (Please excuse minor scuffs and scratches due to storage.) I hope this will be useful to someone looking for this item. [Goronyudo Masamune (Tachi)] - Overall length (mounted): Approx. 101.5 cm - Blade: Grooved Made of special alloy for Iai-do, ancient sword style - Blade length: Approx. 71 cm - Temper pattern: Midareba (irregular wavy temper line) with fine straight sections - Weight: Approx. 1000g - Weight when drawn: Approx. 770g - Handle length: Approx. 24.5 cm - Handle wrap: Genuine ray skin - Menuki (ornaments): Armored warrior design (brass) - Fuchi-Kashira (collar and pommel cap): Designs of Menbori and Yorosode (copper) - Tsuba (hand guard): Plum and bamboo design with gold inlay (iron) - Saya (scabbard): Lacquered saya with a cord-wrapped appearance - Tsuka-ito (handle cord) and Sageo (cord): Pure cotton, Rikyu brown *All dimensions are approximate.
