Introducing the 3 Leaf Audio PROTON MK4, a highly acclaimed pedal, in the limited edition SAKURA (International Edition) color, released in May 2025 with only 50 units produced. This analog envelope filter/auto-wah pedal draws inspiration from the legendary Mu-Tron III lineage. Its optical control system provides natural tracking and a wide range of adjustability, delivering classic funk-inspired filter sounds as well as a more modern and user-friendly range. With controls for GAIN, RANGE, PEAK, DECAY, SWEET, and TONE, it can handle everything from subtle half-stop wah nuances to sharp filter sweeps. It operates on a 9V DC power supply, eliminating the need for a dedicated adapter, and its compact size makes it easy to integrate into any pedalboard. It's exceptionally versatile for both guitar and bass, making it a highly recommended choice for anyone seeking a MuTron-style pedal. This MK4 model builds upon the PROTON MK3, famously used by Kazuki Arai (bassist for King Gnu / millennium parade, and also a supporting bassist for others like Kimi Jima Daisuke Gassou Keitai, Ibuki Takai to Nemuru Seiza, Answer to Remember, and NiziU), offering further improvements in usability. As this is a limited color and small-batch production model, we encourage those who have been searching for it to consider this opportunity. This is a personal import not sold domestically in Japan, and has undergone operational checks. *Specifications differ from the Japanese domestic version previously sold in Japan.
