The BOSS ME-8B is an easy-to-use bass multi-effects pedal. It has been used infrequently, is in beautiful condition, and functions perfectly. Includes the genuine AC adapter and instruction manual. The instruction manual is a printed PDF download. The ME-8B was released as the successor to the ME-6B, which was released in the early 1990s. The ME-6B is an effects unit favored by artists like Stuart Zender of Jamiroquai and Seiji Kameda of Tokyo Jihen. The ME-8B is an updated version of the ME-6B. The ME-8B is also a pedal used by professional bassists, such as Masaki. Unlike modern, miniaturized multi-effects pedals, its size is one of its key usability features. The footswitches are neatly arranged, allowing for confident switching. It features 23 built-in effects, ranging from basic effects to a Humanizer that simulates the human voice, Synth Bass, and sounds that simulate the unique tone and resonance of a fretless bass. Up to 13 effects can be used simultaneously during performance. Additionally, 32 effect settings can be stored as patches. [Specifications] ■ Sampling Frequency: 44.1kHz ■ Patches: 32 (User) + 32 (Preset) + Manual Setting ■ Effects: Compressor/Enhancer, Defretter Octave Overdrive/Distortion/Fuzz Bass Amp Simulator Humanizer/Equalizer Noise Suppressor Synth Bass/T-Wah Chorus/Flanger Delay Reverb 〈Control Effects〉 Pedal Wah Ring Modulator Intelligent Ring Modulator Slow Attack Pitch Shifter Vibrato ■ Connectors: Input, Output, Headphones, Manual Remote, Tuner Remote, Expression Pedal, Tempo In, AC Adapter ■ Power: AC 14V ■ Current Consumption: 500mA ■ Dimensions and Weight: 422 (W) x 206 (D) x 55 (H) mm, 2.2kg Click here for the manufacturer's site
