Selling due to equipment consolidation. This is the Ashdown ABM300 EVO (mirror specification) model, the core of Ashdown's high-end ABM (Ashdown Bass Magnifier) series. It's a professional-grade bass amp head boasting superior design and sound quality compared to the RM and MAG series. As indicated on the back panel, it's Manufactured in England by Ashdown Engineering, meaning it's made in the UK. This offers a solid build and sound quality characteristic of that era, setting it apart from current overseas production models. This particular unit features a beautiful mirror specification front panel, likely a limited edition model from the early production run. It's not only visually striking on stage but also highly satisfying to own. Sonically, it's characterized by a thick, solid low-end, a mid-range that cuts through well, and crisp, powerful highs. Furthermore, the sub-harmonic generator and EQ section are excellent, offering a wide range of tonal shaping possibilities, making it immediately useful for both live performances and recording. With a manageable 300W output, its balanced performance makes it suitable for everything from home practice to studio sessions and live gigs. While the RM series offers lightweight portability and the MAG series provides cost-effectiveness, the ABM series stands out for its sonic depth, presence, and professional-grade build quality. As a used item, there are some signs of use, but no major damage is apparent. The meter lamp is lit, and the sound is thick, rich, and solid. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking a perfect item. This is a pre-owned item that has been in someone's possession. Please consider this opportunity.
