A rare 2006 Balenciaga City crafted in natural linen canvas with brown chèvre (goatskin) leather trim, the iconic braided handles, & silver hardware. This uncommon seasonal combination is much harder to find than the classic all-leather City bags and beautifully showcases Nicolas Ghesquière-era Balenciaga. Includes: * Dust bag * Mirror * Shoulder strap * Extra set of replacement tassels * Original Balenciaga cards * eBay certificate of authenticity The linen has developed a warm patina with signs of use consistent with age, including while the chèvre leather has softened beautifully and retains the character that makes early Balenciaga bags so sought after. A fantastic collector’s piece from the coveted pre-2010 era, combining lightweight linen with durable chèvre leather in one of Balenciaga’s most iconic silhouettes. This style has been recently rereleased but nothing beats the quality of pre 2008 Balenciaga.
