◆ (Excellent Condition) Vixen Dark Field Guiding Adapter GA-2 ◆ [Product] This is a rare item, the Dark Field Guiding Adapter GA-2, from the prestigious optical equipment brand Vixen. It has been opened but never used, making it in superb condition, almost like new. It has been carefully stored and shows no noticeable scratches. It is in very beautiful condition. [Condition] Tested for illumination using two LR44 button batteries, with a simple modification, instead of the original **mercury battery (discontinued)**. Confirmed that the guiding light can be turned on. The modified batteries will be included as a bonus. (※The modification is crude, so the appearance is not perfect.) ※The battery modification is a simple process solely for checking illumination. ※Continuous use for extended periods has not been tested, so safe usage cannot be guaranteed. ※Modification of the battery holder or spacer is recommended for actual use. [Reference] This is the Dark Field Guiding Adapter (GA-2) released by Vixen in the 1980s. A red scale appears in the dark field. The scale can be moved in the XY directions and rotated. It comes with a 2x Barlow lens, which improves tracking accuracy. Stars do not disappear from the scale even when they are within the field of view. All 24.5mm eyepieces can be used. It features diopter adjustment. Power source is one H-2D mercury battery. Length: 120mm. Weight: 230g. (From Vixen catalog) [Notes] ※The color of the posted images may differ from the actual product due to computer monitors, light sources, etc. Please purchase with understanding. ※While every effort has been made to inspect the product, there is a possibility of oversights due to personal management.
