This is a spectacular, pristine piece of authentic 1970s vintage cotton fabric, boasting a vibrant and iconic Flower Power aesthetic. The fabric features an eye-catching, mid-century mod floral print with large, stylized blossoms rendered in rich, saturated primary tones of bright poppy red, cobalt blue, and sunny yellow, all set against a crisp, clean white background. Printed clearly along the crisp selvage edge is the manufacturer mark, Wamsutta OTC Div. of M. Lowenstein Corp., authenticating its deadstock mid-to-late 20th-century heritage. Because it is completely unused and unwashed new-old-stock, the weave retains its excellent original structural integrity, and the colors remain incredibly bold, vivid, and entirely unfaded by time.Measuring a versatile 44 inches wide by 88 inches long, this continuous 2.44-yard remnant offers ample material for a wide variety of creative endeavors. The fabric is a high-quality, breathable, light-to-medium-weight crafting cotton with a smooth, soft hand feel that is exceptionally easy to work with. It is perfectly suited for quilting, retro apparel design (such as a vintage-style blouse, sundress, or children's clothing), retro kitchen accessories, tote bags, or accent throw pillows. Kept in immaculate condition in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment, this gorgeous textile is a rare find for historical fabric collectors and modern makers alike who appreciate the authentic charm and quality of 1970s design.
