A beautiful Furisode kimono with purple and white floral patterns. - Color: Purple and white floral pattern - Material: Possibly cotton or silk - Style: Furisode - Obi color: Orange and purple stripes - Embellishments: Floral embroidery Thank you for looking. I purchased this for an event but am selling it as I decided to attend in a dress. I have not worn it myself, so the photos are borrowed. Below is the borrowed description. This is a Furisode kimono from Fujimusume Kinutaya. Nagajuban (under-kimono), Datejime (sash), Obi (sash), Obijime (sash cord), and Obiage (sash bustle) are not included. How about this for celebrations on special days such as Coming-of-Age ceremonies or weddings? ⟡.· This is a fully shibori (tie-dyed) Furisode from Fujimusume Kinutaya, featuring a beautiful purple gradation dye on a white base. Fine and uniform shibori is applied throughout, including on the white areas, and the exquisite texture of the raised dots conveys its high quality. The floral patterns emerge softly, creating an elegant atmosphere. The shades of purple create depth, and the way the appearance changes with the light is a unique charm of fully shibori. *There is yellowing and water stains due to age throughout. Recommended for those who plan to use it for antique restoration, remakes, re-dyeing, or those who can perform maintenance. This is a striking piece of fully shibori that is rarely seen today.
