These traditional, unique geta, known as Yatsure in the Kanto region and Mukade in Kyoto, have been revived with modern technology using durable special rubber.

● The sole is divided into five parts, providing a better fit to the sole of the foot than regular geta, and the flexibility is outstanding.

● The sole is sponge-lined, making it non-slip and quiet.

● The upper material of the geta is finished with woven bamboo skin, providing a very pleasant feel against the skin.

Due to the handmade nature of this product using natural materials, the wood grain, weave, and color may differ from the photos.
Because the bamboo skin is hand-woven one by one, there may be marks (which may look like scratches) from the weaving process, but please understand that this is part of the natural texture.

These zori feature white synthetic leather thongs.
White thongs are recommended for monks, Shinto priests, and those associated with shrines and temples.
