Reason for Selling: Selling because I purchased new protective gear. Recommended as protective gear for children starting Kendo. Usage Period & User: - Purchased new in February 2017. - Used until February 2020, then stored indoors. - For elementary school children (boys). - Used for practice twice a week, and in approximately 5-8 matches per year. Condition: - There are signs of use, so please check the photos carefully. - The edges of the futon have surface damage due to wear, but this does not affect usability. - The black parts of the men's metal frame have been repainted with cashew paint due to signs of wear. Maintenance: - Both the men (headgear) and tare (skirt) have been hand-washed. - The men have been dyed with indigo by a Kendo instructor. There are some unevenness in the indigo dye. Size Guide (at time of purchase): ▼ Head ① Chin to back of head: 62cm (13-bar men's frame) *when worn ② Forehead band area: 51cm *Slightly loose when first used. ▼ Body Type Guide - Height: 125-130cm - Weight: 25-30kg - Waist: 60-64.9cm Features of the Gear (from original description): - 6mm stitching provides high shock absorption, reducing pain from strikes to the head. - Cushioning suitable for upper elementary to junior high school students. - Uses lightweight duralumin men's frame to reduce strain on the neck. - High-quality design with attention to the back, edges, chin, and chest.
