This is a print by French painter Bernard Cathelin. He is an artist who has long been handled in Japan, primarily by department store art departments, and is renowned for his calm color field compositions and still life expressions. This work is titled Still Life in Green and Black with Gardenias. It is one of only 25 limited edition prints, specifically V / XXV. The artist's original signature Cathelin and the edition number can be seen at the bottom of the image. Additionally, a management label from Mitsukoshi Department Store's art division is affixed to the back, with a record of its official sale in 2007. The clear provenance is a reassuring factor. The artwork is already framed and ready to be displayed upon arrival. With its quiet composition based on green and black, it is a piece that will naturally blend into your interior. Condition: - No noticeable damage to the artwork itself. - Both the edition number and signature are clear. - The frame has very minor scuffs due to age, but they do not interfere with viewing. *Please check the photos for condition. Size: This is a medium-sized framed piece. If you require exact external dimensions, please let us know in the comments. Shipping: The item will be carefully packed with cushioning material and reinforced for protection against breakage before shipping. As this is a work of art, returns will not be accepted due to the risk of fraudulent exchanges. Please confirm any questions before purchasing. Click here for the manufacturer's site
