Thank you for looking. We are offering a work by Toshihiko Iwabuchi (Kamimachi Copperplate Print Studio). It has been stored since purchase. Size: Approx. 12cm (height) x 10cm (width) Toshihiko Iwabuchi from Kamimachi Copperplate Print Studio has released a copperplate print work. The title is GNOSSIENNE. GNOSSIENNE is said to be a piano piece composed around 1890 by a person named Erik Satie. We indirectly heard that he chose this title because this music was playing in his head while he was creating this work... Why Pudding? It seems this work was created for the Pudding Exhibition, an annual one-time exhibition held every summer in Morioka. The Pudding Exhibition in Morioka has already concluded. Here is the introduction to the work that Iwabuchi previously posted on social media (for your reference): [GNOSSIENNE] I submitted a small mezzotint work to the Pudding Exhibition. On a pudding stage, a very small ballerina dances to Satie's Gnossienne. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Recently, an event was held in front of the illuminated main entrance of the Iwate Prefectural Public Hall, where ballerinas danced. I watched it on my smartphone, and the sight of tiny ballerinas dancing beautifully on the small smartphone screen left a very mystical impression on me. This is how the image for this work came about. For some reason, when I imagine that scene, Satie's Gnossienne begins to play in my head. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ This is a 2020 copperplate print titled GNOSSLENNE by artist Toshihiko Iwabuchi, edition 〇/30 (the serial number has been erased for the purpose of this listing. Please understand). The frame is not included. This listing is for the artwork only. Click here for the manufacturer's site
