This is a set of an unused black tomesode (formal kimono for married women) and a fukuro obi (a type of sash). The tomesode is also listed separately. [This item is also listed on other sites and may be removed suddenly.] This is a first-class black tomesode from Sekiyoshi's Taicho, a long-established kimono manufacturer with 100 years of history, renowned for Tokamachi Yuzen dyeing. Against a backdrop of distant mountains adorned with gold leaf, vibrant and bold tangerines are arranged on a red kōgashi (a type of cloud pattern symbolizing eternity). The dyeing, koma embroidery, and gold leaf create a luxurious design that will beautifully enhance your appearance. It will photograph wonderfully at wedding receptions. It is unused and still has basting threads attached. It is lined with an additional layer (hibiki仕立て). It has a wide collar (hiro-eri) with one hook closure. Size: Total length: 159cm (from shoulder) Sleeve to center back length: 64.5cm Sleeve length: 49cm Front width: 24cm Back width: 30.5cm Measurements are taken by an amateur and may contain errors. ★Fukuro Obi (unused) Nishijin-ori, Rokutsu pattern fukuro obi, cloud-bound flower pattern, gold thread, pure silk. This obi features a cloud-bound pattern, a symbol of good fortune, making it perfect for celebratory occasions such as weddings. This is a combination that will look great on Instagram.
