Purchased about 1.5 years ago and used a few times at live events. The batter head shows signs of use, and there is a sticker in the center that was applied to mark the center. No parts have been replaced, so it is in the same condition as when it was shipped. Aside from the batter head, there is no rust or noticeable dirt on the rest of the drum, so the appearance should not be a major concern. Also, there are no distortions in the hoops or shell. Please note that a case is not included. This is a used item, so please only purchase if you understand this. Feel free to contact us for price negotiations. Quoted from the TAMA website: It was my dream to create this snare drum - This snare drum was produced by Tohru Souru Totsuka, a drummer who has been active at the forefront of the Japanese music scene for over 40 years since his professional debut at the age of 12, fulfilling his 10-year dream. By filling the inner edges of the steel shell with silicone, it achieves a solid sound with suppressed overtones while retaining the characteristic high-frequency ring of steel. The fine grain of the snare wires is also clear, and it has the potential to handle not only rock and pop but also wind ensembles. Click here for the manufacturer's site
