This is a listing for a Crystal Tom made of acrylic from Tama's Artstar ES series. This is a very rare model. It was released in 1996 as a limited edition of 50 sets, and I purchased this individual unit. I didn't have the funds to buy the whole set at the time... As you know, it is modeled after X Japan's YOSHIKI's Crystal Drum. It is from the Artstar series, not the Rockstar series, and It uses Artstar lugs, which are the same as YOSHIKI's Crystal Drum. I purchased it new in 1996, so many years have passed, but it has been carefully stored in a tom case and kept in a closet. I have used it only a few times, and I would say it has been used very little. Recently, I've been using rototoms more often, so I'm listing this tom because I won't have opportunities to use it in the future. I will include the hard case, but I put stickers from my old band on it at the time, so please remove them if you don't want them. The sound is likely mid-low range as it's a 13-inch tom. However, this will depend on tuning. The acrylic is clean with no yellowing. There are almost no scratches or dirt, so it's close to mint condition. There are some minor scratches on the Artstar lugs (please refer to the photos). There is a caulking at the seam? (a vertical line), but this is part of the original construction, so please don't worry. Diameter: 37cm (lug to lug) Height: 33cm It's quite flashy in appearance, so I think it would stand out on stage. You can see the audience's faces well (and vice versa...). Please check the photos for dirt and scratches. For the sake of preventing any issues, those who are looking for perfection or are extremely sensitive should refrain from purchasing. As it was a limited release at the time, very few people own one. It fits tightly in the hard case, so wrapping it in bubble wrap might not fit. I may wrap it in newspaper instead... It will be shipped in a cardboard box, but if a suitable box is not available, it will be shipped with bubble wrap packaging. I have set a high price due to the rarity of this product.
