This is a new, unused item that has been stored. It is a kimono from about 30 years ago. This is highly recommended for those looking for high-quality items that are no longer available today. I believe the fabric and tailoring are of excellent quality. It has been stored in a paulownia wood chest, so there is no damage and it is in good condition. This is Oshima Tsumugi, considered a high-end item among kimonos. I would love for someone to wear it. I am looking to reduce the number of kimonos my mother, who used to wear kimonos frequently, put together for me. This is a beautiful Oshima Tsumugi with a deep color and an elegant, large pattern. It is listed with a haori of the same pattern. This is the first time it has been opened for listing. I have not taken photos of it spread out, as I wanted to handle it minimally. If you wish, I can upload more images, so please let me know. The red in the first image did not come out well; it is a more subdued, deep red. Images 5 onwards are of the haori. Kimono: Length 161 cm (from shoulder) Sleeve length 63 cm, Sleeve width 32.5 cm, Sleeve length 49 cm Front width 25 cm, Back width 31 cm Haori: Length 85 cm (from shoulder) Sleeve length 64.5 cm, Sleeve width 33 cm, Sleeve length 47.5 cm Front width 21 cm, Back width 30 cm Please feel free to comment with any questions. I am also open to price negotiations. Thank you. Click here for the manufacturer's site
