vintage handcrafted Inuit style souvenir art doll, measuring approximately 6.5 inches tall. This beautifully detailed piece is a classic example of mid-to-late 20th-century Native-inspired folk art, traditionally made for the Alaskan and Canadian travel trade. The doll features a meticulously detailed, hand-painted face with dark fiber hair styled in a traditional high bun. He is outfitted in a full winter parka crafted from genuine animal fur and hide, featuring a thick, dramatic fur ruff surrounding the hood. The outfit is accented with hand-stitched leather pants, white strap details, a matching belt, and small leather boots (mukluks). Specifications: Height: 6.5 inches Materials: Genuine fur, hide/leather, fibers, painted composite face Era: Vintage (circa 1950s) Condition: Good vintage condition with light, natural aging appropriate for its age. The fur remains thick, and the painted facial features are clear and intact. No visible maker’s marks or tags present.
