Talk about a BIG teddy bear! 🐻 Wonderful vintage oversized brown teddy bear by Applause / Wallace Berrie & Co., dating to approximately 1983 according to the original sewn-in identification tag. This big fellow has a fantastic classic bear look with thick warm brown plush fur, a lighter muzzle, small rounded ears, dark eyes, large paws and an wonderfully chunky, huggable body. At approximately 30 inches, he makes quite an impression! Details: * Vintage Applause teddy bear * Wallace Berrie & Co. * Woodland Hills, California * Copyright 1983 shown on tag * Made in Korea * Approx. 30” long/tall * Oversized / jumbo size * Warm brown plush fur * Lighter brown muzzle * Dark plastic eyes * Original sewn-in manufacturer’s tags * Polyester fiber filling Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. Plush fur presents nicely overall. The black nose shows noticeable cracking/crazing and finish wear, clearly shown in the close-up photograph. This has been left completely as found and adds to his vintage character. Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the description and show the exact bear you will receive. A fantastic oversized vintage teddy with loads of personality — perfect for a vintage toy collection, nursery display, cabin décor or anyone who believes teddy bears should come in EXTRA LARGE!
