This ceramic vase resembles a torus or circular form with multiple trumpet-shaped necks, similar in style to mid-century modern Space Age pottery.Design: The piece features a central circular ring supported by a footed base, topped with three distinct, flared openings.Glaze: It is finished in a mottled, green-toned glaze that covers the circular body and necks.Style: The design is consistent with decorative studio pottery from the 1960s or 1970s. Studio pottery emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as artists sought to elevate ceramics beyond mere functional objects to forms of artistic expression. This movement emphasized individual craftsmanship, unique designs, and often experimental glazes and techniques. Studio potters typically create one-of-a-kind or limited-edition pieces, distinguishing them from mass-produced ceramics. This particular vase, with its unconventional toroidal form and multiple spouts, exemplifies the modernist and experimental spirit prevalent in studio pottery from the mid-to-late 20th century. Such pieces were often designed to be sculptural as much as functional, serving as decorative objects or for displaying minimalist floral arrangements like Ikebana. The speckled glaze and the visible terracotta base are characteristic of many studio pottery pieces from this era. No damage
