This shoin door features delicate kumiko woodwork, embodying the traditional beauty of Japan. The geometric kumiko patterns are exquisite, and the interplay of light and shadow when illuminated is truly a work of art. The texture of the wood, deepened over many years, creates a unique charm that cannot be replicated by modern mass-produced items. [Product Details] Perfect for creating a Japanese modern space, this can be used as a shoin window for a Japanese-style room, leaned against a wall for display, or repurposed as a panel for indirect lighting by incorporating a light source. Set includes: 2 Shoin Doors Material: Natural Wood Design: Traditional Kumiko Woodwork Size (per piece): Height: Approx. 48.5cm Width: Approx. 40.5cm Thickness: Approx. 3cm (※Measurements are based on the photos. Please allow for slight variations.) [Condition and Transparency] Condition: This is an antique item that has been used. Details: While carefully used for many years, there may be minor scratches, dirt due to age, slight gaps in some of the kumiko, or signs of repair. We hope to pass this on to someone who appreciates the character of old fixtures and loves the charm of antiques. The item will be sold as-is. Please note that replacing the shoji paper will be the responsibility of the buyer. [Shipping] To protect the delicate kumiko, we will pack it securely using thick cushioning material and cardboard. As this is a large item, it may take a few days for shipping to ensure safety. Click here for the manufacturer's site
