Thank you for viewing. This is a display cabinet (tea cabinet) with exquisite mother-of-pearl (raden) inlay and gold lacquer (makie) work. The iridescent shell inlay, which shines with a rainbow hue depending on the angle of light, stands out against the jet-black lacquer, creating an overwhelming presence not only in Japanese-style rooms but also as an accent in modern interiors. [Features] • Raden and Makie Design: The doors and drawers are intricately decorated with elegant flowers such as peonies and plum blossoms. • Storage: Features sliding doors, hinged doors, and drawers, combining practicality with its design. [Dimensions] Width: Approx. 74.5 cm Depth: Approx. 27 cm Height: Approx. 90.5 cm [Condition] Overall, the piece retains its luster, and there are no signs of the mother-of-pearl inlay peeling off. As this is an antique item, please be aware of the following: • Drawer Section: There is one horizontal crack on the bottom right drawer (please refer to the photo). • There are minor scuffs inside and on the bottom due to use. We hope to pass this piece on to someone who can appreciate the authentic texture of wooden products and lacquerware that has weathered many years. Click here for the manufacturer's site
