German Violin Full Size 4/4 1928 ● Label Antonius Stradivarius Made in Germany 1928 Year: 1928 Country of Manufacture: Germany Size: 4/4 Body Length: 358mm U.B.: 165mm M.B.: 113mm L.B.: 205mm Weight: 439g (Measurements are approximate.) ● Maintenance Details: Repaired, inspected, basic setup completed, cleaned, and polished by a violin craftsman. Summary of Work: New Dominant + Pirastro strings Fingerboard replaced Neck reset Nut replaced Boxwood fittings AUBERT A bridge Soundpost replaced Varnish repaired and mirror polished ★ Basic adjustments have been made to professional standards, but please understand that further adjustments may be necessary depending on the player's skill and preference. ■ Subjectively, the tone has a soft, modern characteristic. It's a violin with a good core sound that resonates well, and I believe it has a brighter tone compared to other German violins. ■ Condition: Polished to a high gloss, but there are some dents and varnish chips. Visually, there are no major cracks or damage, and it is of sufficient quality. ■ Bow and Case: Not included. Rest assured regarding shipping. ■ While this violin falls into the category of mass-produced instruments of its time, it has aged well, is light, and has good balance. I believe its tone would be favored by those who appreciate old German violins. Given its condition and performance, it's a cost-effective violin that should satisfy those looking in the around 200,000 yen price range. ◇ Please Read Before purchasing or if you have any questions, please check my profile.
