DESCRIPTION Beautiful vintage bamboo half-moon cage handbag featuring an eye-catching geometric sunburst design. Constructed from individually arranged bamboo slats with horizontal detailing across the upper portion and radiating slats forming the semicircular lower body. Translucent/white synthetic connectors secure portions of the bamboo construction. The rigid double-sided design incorporates rectangular cutout handles directly into the bamboo frame. A wonderful statement accessory with a distinctly 1970s/1980s bohemian, resort and retro aesthetic. Similar bamboo cage handbags predate today's modern designer versions and have become collectible vintage fashion accessories. Approximate Measurements: * Width: 11 * Height: 9.5 * Depth: 3 Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, small marks and minor imperfections to the natural bamboo.
