Lot of 6 vintage Anchor Hocking Bubble 5.5 Glass Bowls - Forest Green Introduced in 1954, this iconic mid-century pressed glassware features nested rows of raised, convex glass bubbles on the outside leading up to a beautiful, scalloped rim. Item Details: • Brand: Anchor Hocking (Anchorglass) • Pattern: Bubble 1600 line • Color: Forest Green (aka Emerald Green) • Size: 5.5 (actual 5 7/16) Diameter (Perfect for individual servings) • Quantity: 6 bowls total. Condition: Very good showing no real wear. The glass is clear, vibrant, glossy, and without chips, cracks, hairlines or clouding. One bowl.... the one with the original Anchor Hocking foil label in the bottom, has what I would call a polishing defect on the bottom rim that I only found as I ran my hand over them all with a stocking looking/feeling for defects. All the pics of the single bowl are of this particular one - I tried to make it stand out by really blowing up the photos so you could get a good look. There are tiny bubbles in the glass in the area, and the defect may be from polishing bursting some at the surface. The sticker makes for a nice addition to this one only, the others do not have their stickers but are identical in pattern, color, and size & came from the same estate collection. The defect is not distracting visually or an issue with functionality. Perfect for completing a mid-century set, holidays, or adding a gorgeous pop of retro color to your kitchen.
