This is part of my father's antique collection(^^) This is a lacquered sake cup, a non-sale award commemorative item. It features the Gosan-no-kiri (Paulownia crest) and the character for Law in gold on a vermilion background. The back reads: Awarded by the Kyushu Regional Correction and Rehabilitation Service Board. Commemorative award for Outstanding Probation Officer from the Moji Probation Association. My father mentioned it's likely from before the 1950s, possibly from when Moji was still a city. Size approx.: Diameter 10 x Height 3.2 cm Weight: 22g Although it is estimated to be over 70 years old, it is a beautiful item with no noticeable scratches, chips, or damage, likely unused. Please check the photos. It does not come with its original box or any writing on the box. We ask that you understand the above and accept it as is, an antique item stored in a private home by an amateur, sold as-is with no returns or exchanges (NCNR). The item will be shipped via standard mail (to reduce shipping costs) using recycled packaging materials. Please understand this in advance. ◆I am also selling other lacquerware and sake cups. If you wish to purchase multiple items, I can offer a discount on combined shipping. Please use the Request Combined Price feature or leave a comment(^^) 【Important Notes】 ・The photos may show colors and textures that differ from the actual product. ・As this is an antique item, there may be scratches and dirt commensurate with its age and years of storage. ・It may be difficult to convey the exact condition of the item through words and images alone. We ask for your understanding of old items. ・Returns, complaints, and cancellations after purchase are not accepted. ・Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. ・Any assessment of the item's era is based on an amateur's estimation and is not definitive. #Sake #SakeCup #Cup #HotSake #WarmSake #Osechi #Bento #Christmas #NewYear #Party #Otoso #JAPONISM #Japonism Click here for the manufacturer's site
