A wonderfully nostalgic piece of San Diego and U.S. military history, this vintage souvenir scarf features a cheerful blonde sailor girl wearing a sailor's cap and standing at the Captain's wheel. The scarf was made as a souvenir of the former **Naval Training Center San Diego**, which is now closed, making this a fun piece for collectors of vintage San Diego memorabilia, military history, nautical décor, or vintage souvenir textiles. The large format allows the colorful sailor-girl design to really shine. It could be displayed as a collectible, framed as textile art, incorporated into a vintage-inspired wardrobe, or simply enjoyed as a piece of military and California history. Details: * Vintage Naval Training Center San Diego souvenir * Large scarf 27x 29 * Blonde sailor girl wearing a sailor's hat Captain's wheel / nautical imagery Vintage military and San Diego memorabilia Good overall condition A few very minor, tiny spots and some yellowing, although not major, are present and may be removable with professional or careful textile cleaning.
