This is a craft item made using Najeonchilgi, a traditional Korean lacquerware technique. This technique involves cutting out mother-of-pearl from seashells to create patterns and embedding them into the surface of lacquerware. This piece is from the Korean brand ArtPlus. Traditional arabesque patterns such as cranes and flowers are beautifully expressed through the luster of the shells. It can be used as a jewelry box or a decorative box. Please avoid getting the lacquerware wet and wipe it with a soft cloth for care. It is unused but has been stored at home, so it is in beautiful condition, though there may be some cloudiness or minor scratches that are difficult to see. Please check the photos before purchasing. Size: Width: 21cm Height: 7.5cm Depth: 2.5cm This is a decorative lacquerware box with delicate and beautiful mother-of-pearl inlay. The entire surface is adorned with shell inlay on black lacquer, creating an elegant piece that shimmers with iridescent colors depending on the light. A phoenix motif is featured in the center, surrounded by arabesque patterns, giving it a luxurious feel characteristic of Oriental art. It can be used not only as an accessory case or small item container but also as a statement piece for interior decoration. [Condition] No noticeable major damage is observed, and it is in relatively good condition. Please understand that there may be minor scuffs and signs of use due to age. (Please check the photos for details) We ask that those who understand antiques and crafts make a purchase. As this is a one-of-a-kind item, please consider purchasing it soon if you are interested.
