This is a boonie hat featuring the Vietnam Tiger camouflage pattern, a masterpiece from the Vietnam War era. This is not an issue item (with a mil-spec tag), but a civilian mil-spec style model (replica) that soldiers are said to have purchased privately at the PX (military shop on base) and used during that time. [Features] - Rare: USA-made Tiger Stripe - 8-stitch brim (same as actual items from the NAM War era) - Thick cotton x rugged stitching - Inner cross reinforcement stitching - No wire (same as actual items) - PX/Civilian Mil-Spec (Replica) - Excellent condition (no damage) [Size] Label: L (7 1/4 – 7 3/8) Actual measurements: Equivalent to S (approx. 56cm circumference) *Due to the nature of vintage replicas, there are individual differences. [Condition] In very good condition. No tears, fraying, or writing. No loss of shape and stored in excellent condition. [Fabric] Stiff cotton (different texture from thin replicas) Aging and fading create an excellent atmosphere. [Estimated Era] 1960s-1970s Vietnam War era PX/Civilian Mil-Spec Replica Recommended for those who like Vietnam War gear, MACV-SOG, LRRP, CIDG, Green Berets, etc. Actual models of Tiger Stripe are becoming increasingly scarce on the market. Please consider this opportunity. *For those who understand vintage items only. *No returns to prevent swapping. Immediate purchase OK. Click here for the manufacturer's site
