A bold slice of 1980s Cardin design language, this silk scarf plays hard with color-blocked bands in navy, cherry red, and warm taupe-to-cream, all woven with a fine textured basketweave check that catches the light differently in every panel. A cream field with a scattered charcoal fleck print breaks up the stripes for contrast, and the Pierre Cardin signature sits printed in black within one of the red blocks. The palette and architectural color-blocking are classic 1980s Cardin — graphic, confident, and clearly made for a woman who wanted her accessories to do some talking. The narrow solid navy border finishes the edges cleanly all the way around. Fabric is 100% silk with a Japanese-language care tag reading “silk 100%,” confirming authentic Japan manufacture. Measures approximately 30 x 30 inches. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage item. I do my best to note any flaws or imperfections, but some light wear is consistent with age and use. This is part of the charm of owning a vintage piece.
