GOTOH is renowned for its high-quality, premium Japanese-made parts!! The S188 is a steel saddle with a solid, heavy feel, producing a clear, well-defined sound, and is consistently popular. It transmits string vibrations directly to the body. The balance of each string's tone is excellent, and its strength and vibration conductivity are superb. This is a standard Japanese size for Stratocasters, so many guitars can be replaced directly. GOTOH's official website provides detailed product specifications (dimensions), so please check there. The saddle is the first part to receive string vibrations. Although it's a small part, the change in sound when this part is replaced is very high. Using high-quality saddles can be expected to improve sustain and increase overtone content. If you're hesitant about bridge replacement due to the need for modification, you can try replacing just the saddles relatively easily, so please give it a try!
