Striking vintage Art Deco-era stretch bracelet featuring ten individually decorated black glass floral panels. Each domed rectangular cabochon displays a delicate botanical motif in soft white, yellow, and brown tones, framed by ornate silver-tone base-metal settings with attractive aged patina. The bracelets most fascinating feature is its early expansion construction. Two flat ribbed rubber bands pass through the settings and black spacer beads, eliminating the need for a clasp. The bands retain good elasticity and return to their resting position after stretching. * Approximately 1930s1940s * Ten coordinated floral panels * Likely Czech or Central European costume jewelry * Black glass or glass-covered floral cabochons * Decorative paste-set or beaded borders * Unusual early flat-rubber stretch construction * Compact panels measure approximately ¾ inch tall * All ten principal floral panels are present * One small black spacer bead is missing The bracelet remains functional, with good elasticity at the time of listing. It displays age-appropriate surface scratches, metal-finish wear, and patina. Because the rubber bands are vintage, careful handling and wear are recommended. An uncommon surviving example of early stretch-bracelet construction with strong Art Deco character and ten attractive floral panels.
