Up for sale is a beautiful vintage opalescent porcelain trinket box, perfect for adding mid-century elegance to any vanity, dresser, or nightstand. This charming jewelry keeper features a striking three-dimensional applied pink ceramic rose on the lid, accented by gold-veined leaves. The entire piece is coated in a brilliant iridescent pearl lusterware glaze that catches the light beautifully, highlighted by hand-painted gold gilt trim along the ruffled, wavy edges. The base is marked with an incised mold stamp B6. Historically, porcelain items featuring this distinct iridescent luster finish and applied floral artistry became immensely popular during the post-WWII era, spanning the 1950s through the 1960s. Many of these delicate porcelain goods were handcrafted in Japanese ceramic studios and imported to Western markets by prominent vintage distributors such as Thames, Lefton, and Betson. They were highly prized as romantic bedroom decor and vanity keepsakes. This item is in good pre-owned vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to the delicate petals or body. It shows only minor, expected light wear consistent with age and gentle handling. Perfect for storing rings, dainty jewelry, or displaying as a standalone collectible. Please review all photos for a detailed view of its condition.
